5 little hedgehogs sitting on the floor, one fell asleep and then there were 4.
4 little hedgehogs, cute as can be, one rolled away and then there were 3.
3 little hedgehogs visited the zoo, one stayed with the bears and then there were 2.
2 little hedgehogs hungry for dinner. Race to finish. We have a winner!
1 lonely hedgehog wiggling his snout, “Where are my friends?” he began to pout.
(bring other hedgehogs back)
"Here we are, here we are, and don’t you worry. Let’s go outside hurry, hurry, hurry".

Love the pouting! My storytime friends will get a big kick out of getting to make pouty faces. LOL
ReplyDeleteI just did a hedgehog/porcupine storytime for the first time about a month or so ago. It was sooooo much fun! I can't wait to do it again and I will be adding your rhyme to my list of activities.
